The
increasing sophistication of
geosynthetics lining systems has
lent many municipal landfills,
such as the Atlantic County, NJ
Landfill, to be a logical
turnkey installation project for
Atlantic Lining Co., Inc.
Atlantic Lining Co, Inc.
geosynthetic division installed
the six layers of geosynthetic
lining components required on
the project. ALCO Construction,
the general contracting division
of Atlantic Lining Co., Inc.,
performed all excavation,
filling and grading for subgrade
and drainage layer construction
and constructed the leachate
collection piping and pumping
systems, stormwater control,
electrical system, roadway, soil
erosion matting and landscaping.
ALCO Construction personnel have
a proven record of performance
in the areas of Environmental
and General Contracting.
Atlantic Lining Co., Inc. is now
able to provide clients with one
stop shopping capable of
satisfying all of their specific
project needs. The Atlantic
County Landfill project had
third party quality control
measures, including an
electrical leak location survey
and destructive seam testing
with no defects found.
Gene Petit, Chief Engineer for
the Atlantic County Utilities
Authority, rated ALCO’s
performance “the best end
product, completed ahead of
schedule, of the 7 cells I have
built.”
